I believe everyone should be required to do this assignment. It seems stealing of ideas from others often occurs, whether we are aware of it or not. And the fact that we may not realize we are plagiarizing and/or paraphrasing is most difficult. This does not apply solely to "ideas" but also to music, photos, graphics and movies, basically anything that originates from someone else. Copyright laws and "fair use" guidelines are in place to protect one's published work. This assignment reinforced in me the need to exercise caution and be more cognizant to site anything that is not mine originally. To give credit where credit is due.
